So I'm taking an idea from Becky's blog today and trying to pick my favorite Christmas memory. For those who know me very well, you may be thinking of the tree incident when I was two, but I can't remember that so ha!
One of the most vivid memories from Christmas as a little kid was the year we had my mom's whole side of the family, including Grandma and Grandpa, to our house for Christmas. Since our family is spread all over the place it was so nice to have everyone with us for the holiday. I think I was 6 or something that Christmas. It was the year I got my first "big girl" bike. It was the most beautiful banana seat Huffy I had ever seen! I remember Uncle Andy helping me ride it outside in the snow after we were finished opening mountains of presents. Corey and I were truly spoiled! I'd love to hear what you guys remember from Christmas past!

White Elephant Fun
Last night we got together with our small group, like we do every Sunday...Only last night we did something a little different. We had a white elephant Christmas gift exchange. Needless to say, especially with some of the folks in the group, the gifts were very interesting. Just a few of them...a Gwar CD ( of course from Dave), a hula girl outfit and my personal favorite, a hermit crab. It made for such a fun night. The rest of the weekend was pretty low key, mostly catching up on sleep, watching a few movies, and keeping Lola under control. She gets a little stir crazy with the cold weather. I'm going to try and have some pics of her up soon.

Happy Holidays!
So Christmas is fast approching, and I am nowhere near ready for it.
The one nice thing I actually do have finished is all the decorating
around the house, so that's a relief. Unfortunately the ice/snow storm
we had last week took a toll on some of our outdoor decorations. The cute
little Christmas tree we have out there is now iced to the house, and I'm
not quite sure how to remove it just yet :) Guess I'll just wait till it
melts.
This weekend was great. We played hotel and had Jim and Denise at our house
Saturday night becuase they had lost power in the storm. Then we celebrated
Denise's birthday last night.
I promise to have more pictures up soon. I can't find my little device that
lets me load my pics onto my computer, so until then...sorry! By the way, if
anyone is interested, my and Dave's wedding album is finally online. There are
a few pics we're going to change, but so far, so good! It's on ChrisCroy.com, then go to My Album and click on Lindsey and Dave Wedding. Take care everyone!
